BONE BROTH PROTEIN RECIPE

SWEET POTATO HUMMUS

  • 1 ½ pounds sweet potato
  • ½ cup tahini
  • 1 scoop of pure bone broth protein
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup lime
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup cilantro (garnish)
  • olive oil (garnish)

CHOP THE SWEET POTATOES INTO LARGE CHUNKS AND ADD TO A POT OF BOILING WATER.

LET SWEET POTATOES BOIL FOR 30-40 MINUTES UNTIL THEY ARE SOFT.

DRAIN THE WATER AND SWEET POTATOES THROUGH A SIEVE AND CAREFULLY PEEL THE SKINS OFF OF THE SWEET POTATOES.

ADD THE SWEET POTATOES TO THE FOOD PROCESSOR WITH TAHINI, BONE BROTH POWDER, GARLIC, LIME, LEMON, SALT AND PEPPER AND PUREE UNTIL SMOOTH.

REFRIGERATE THE HUMUS IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER UNTIL COOLED AND THEN GARNISH WITH OLIVE OIL AND CHOPPED CILANTRO BEFORE SERVING.
